Who we are

In 2003 Frankie Bernert accepted the position as sous-chef at the Worthington Inn working side by side with Chef Tom Smith until 2006. During this time they were ranked a Top Ten Restaurant by the Columbus Dispatch’s Jon Christensen.

During the summer of 2006 he worked at 5 star restaurant and top ten-rated Restaurant, La Tavola with Chef-Owner Rick Lopez. From 2007 through 2012 he was the Executive Chef at Royal American Links in Galena, Ohio. From February 2012 through January 2015, Frankie worked as the Executive Chef at Two Caterers. A “green” catering company that managed several event spaces in Columbus as well as the successful, top ten-rated food truck, turned restaurant, Sweet Carrot.

Frankie and a partner developed a restaurant concept and opened PanOlio in Cape Coral, Florida in 2019. Due to challenges related to CoVID 19, he sold the restaurant in February 2021 and returned to Ohio.

Always wanting to challenge his culinary expertise, Frankie decided to develop a food truck concept. Feed Your Soul Food Truck debuted in 2022 and has led to kitchen and catering divisions.

Frankie has a passion for fresh ingredients and is a “from-scratch” chef. He describes his menu as Global cuisine with a focus on French, German, American, and Mediterranean influences. He is excited to share his passion with you through your special event.
